Helpful Tips

*Order 20% extra envelopes and place cards to allow for errors and any last minute additions or changes.

* Make sure all spelling is correct on your guest list.  I will be copying  names and addresess exactly as you have them written. The format below is preferred or you can check out  www.theknot.com for their guest list management tools.  I will also accept an Excel spreadsheet.

                                   Name
                                   Address
                                   Apartment Number
                                   City, State,  Zip

* Please spell out all abbreviations such as North, South, Boulevard, Court, Lane as well as all states.  Make sure all your street addresses are complete with the proper designation of boulevard, court, street or lane.

* Double check for missing zip codes and look them up at www.zip4usps.com.

* Include a title, such as Mr., Mrs., or Dr., for each person on your guest list.

Proper etiquette says that all male first names be formalized.  Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smith should be Mr. and Mrs. James Smith.

* Designate how you want the inside envelope to read.  A formal invitation would read Mr. and Mrs. Smith.  A more personal approach will read Uncle Bill and Aunt Sue.

* I can answer any etiquette questions you may have.  One of the best resources you will find is at www.crane.com

* Use a 12pt. font or larger.
